Shelley, the bottomless pit and the lake of fire are two different places. When Satan is thrown into the lake of fire with the False Prophet and the Antichrist, he is there forever and ever as Rev.20:10 says.

Hi Shelley. When Jesus comes back satan doesn't get thrown into the lake of fire right away. He get's thrown into the bottomless pit for a thousand years first. After the thousand years he is released for a while and he goes out and decieves the nations again. Then his armies come against the camp of God on they get wiped out and then satan gets thrown into the lake of fire.. Then he won't bug you anymore.
