It is so nice to have you here with us. You know, a praying mother is the backbone of a household. You keep at it Janet. But there is another thing you should do, picture your son as you would like him to. Then tell God that is what you hope for. You will see the change. Sometimes we pray a lot without a definite goal. it is like running without knowing where the finish line is.So have a result ready in your mind, so God then understands what your prayer is all about. So be specific. You will see your son coming out of all bad situations. Let us raise him in prayer. Pray without ceasing for your son. You know, every word and emotion from us go up into heavenly realms.
You never reject your children's prayers. We are asking you to touch Nick today.Enter into Nick's life Lord and break all the bad habits that he has. Change all his surroundings and place your people in his life. Heal him from all pain, disillusion and wayward thinking. Cleanse his body and mind for the Holy Spirit to enter. Take control of Nick with Your mighty power. In this situation only You can change him. Have mercy Lord, and bless Nick, Janet and their household. Be their master and an everpresent help. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ, the savior who died for our sins. amen.Thank You Lord for listening to this prayer.

I am new here...
Thank you for your encouragement to send in prayer requests. I would like
to request prayer for my 28-year-old son, who is a Christian, but who is
also an alcoholic. He has been in and out of rehab, but cannot seem to stay
sober. He is now living in an extremely dangerous neighborhood, where there
are lots of gang members, in a residence with several other men who are
alcoholics. I don't think he is receiving the treatment he needs.
We used to be very close, but his alcoholism has torn-up my family
relationships, and placed a great deal of stress on my marriage. I am
extremely depressed, and find some relief in prayer, but not always. I am
exhausted from praying for my son every day, for long periods of time - he
has used either marijuana, pills, or alcohol since he was 15 years old.
Please pray that he is surrounded by God's Presence and His angels in his
neighborhood, which is supposed to be the most dangerous neighborhood in the
city where we are living, and that he is protected from harm - and I would
also appreciate it greatly if you could pray that he is healed of his
alcoholism and addictions. His name is Nick.

raise them in prayer.
Depression hits all, in different degrees. So if you feel depressed and
wonder about life, don't be discouraged. Jesus Christ is risen, He is an
advocate for us with His Father in heaven and we can boldly ask anything in
His name and we will not be disappointed.
