When you approach the text with this "thought" Bro Ed you are
placing yourself BACK under a LAW that only condemns.
If you FAIL at one single point you have no GRACE.
Love = Grace
Law = Death and not eternal life.
Sure you can make it to heaven doing this, but you better keep
the WHOLE LAW and keep it you must . . . "PERFECT"
NT followers understood Ed they were freed from physical LAW.
When you read an EXAMPLE in the NT, they are doing what you observe in FREEDOM, freedom a LAW that only can condemn the follower.
When you and others WRONGLY conclude, let's read what they did
and let's ASSUME they did it because they were COMMANDED to do those
EXACT PHYSICAL things.
They were NOT Ed. What you should SEE is what they are doing is in complete and total FREEDOM from PHYSICAL LAW.
They were their IDEAS and what they wanted to do driven by LOVE for God and one another and was NOT BECAUSE THEY WERE COMMANDED TO DO THEM.
Even you ADMIT you cannot come up with so much as ONE of these LAWS
that you assume they are FOLLOWING.
The reason you can't find ANY Ed is because NONE were given!
This should hit you with a BIG DUH!!!!!!!
But you CAN NOT see it because of what you WERE TOLD to believe.
What you were told to believe is not what God told you to believe.
He told you Ed you were freed from LAW that condemns!
He also tells you IF you THINK you won't be condemned IF you keep
them you VOID Grace!
Galatians 5:4
You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.
FORGET what MEN have told you, FORGET restoring the NT church by
turning there FREE practices and IDEAS into LAW!
Do that Ed and you will be UNDERSTANDING the TEXT instead of trying
to turn them INTO something God did not TEACH YOU.

It seems that you are worried about how it sounds to others; since you make two or three of your statements in that regard. That is an interesting basis for deciding how to treat God's word.
Clay's response:
I keep God's sacred and divine "WORD" Ed as I just explained above.
I am not concerned how they SEE my understanding of God's word, but
how they SEE what you believe God's word says, which is incorrect.
Ed continues:
I will say this: people who are serious about discipleship have no trouble with the concepts of speaking where the Bible speaks and doing Bible things in Bible ways. They tend towards that very same thing and are looking for people who think as they think.
Clay's response:
I doubt you or any other disciple is MORE serious Ed than I am of
following the teachings understood from God's word.
You seek those of like minds over LAW that is created by men, I seek
to TEACH ALL that Love God, Love Neighbor and strive to keep in step with God's Holy Spirit the truth regardless of how long that takes
