Ummmm....ok. I went ahead and supplied the missing verbs, but I'll go right ahead and try to establish some sort of unity regarding that controversial verse. The other option, of course, is to agree to disagree and proclaim "UNITY". Isn't it amazing that unity would be so easy: all I have to do is agree that the verse says, "Repent ye for the remission of sins, then be baptized because of it," and I'll be unified with him, and we can march together in stride. I'm glad Jesus called us to love one another; it would be much more difficult had He called us to "Preach the gospel to every creature."
In your sentence, "Brent you and I apparently on the same page," I trust that "aren't" is the verb following I. No, not for now, but one day we may be: right now, I'm going to remain a member of the church of Christ. Well, good luck to me on my Greek, good luck to you on your English, and good luck to my fellow disputant - notice the professional, respectful, and logical tone he follows? I'm gonna have to refer him here among his brethren to learn some real manners: right now, he's so misguided that he thinks unity is achieved by following the Bible.
