I have materials on the subject of hermeneutics by Dungan, Lockhart, Kuhatsckek, Arthur, MacAthur, Stuart and Fee among others others indicating the place of recognizing commands, exmples, inferences, inductive and deductive methods, and the Regulatory Principle - regaring silence - was around long before the Campbells, or even Locke for that matter.
I agree with Ray. I can't find any denomination who use any aspect of the CENI hermeneutic to render exclusive methods in Christianity. I do find some who use Biblical examples and inferences, but they don't practice them as exclusive to a right standing with God as do the CoC. That is the difference.
