Can't you see what you are doing, Clay? If anyone ever tempted God, you are doing it here. I post what I learn from God's word, but I will not demand of God that he must reveal his will in the form I demand of him as if I had some right to demand anything of God.

I'm thinking that it was God who said bro Ed:

Deuteronomy 7:9
Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and ....... keep his commands.

I'm thinking Bro Ed that David, the man after God's own heart that said:

Psalm 119:48
"I lift up my hands to your commands, which I love, and I meditate on your decrees."

I'm also thinking this is the word's of Jesus who we "claim" to foolow that said"

John 14:21
Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him."

I'm think you would do well to stop arguing against me, as if "I" am the one that is demanding of God do anything my Brother>

Seems to me Bro Ed it is "YOU" that demand God turn your hand picked examples of a freed people into Law so that He, God will be forced to recognize you as the REAL CHURCH.

Bro Ed, you would do well to STOP going beyound what is commanded and what is plainly written:

1 Corinthians 4:6
Now, brothers, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, "Do not go beyond what is written." Then you will not take pride in one man over against another.

Now let us think Bro Ed, who is it that "CLAIMS" they have "RESTORED" the New Testament church ........... just for God?

Sounds prideful to me for any uninspired man to dare even to mutter those words.
