Romans 6:13, "Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness."
We are the creations of God. We are God's little pieces of artwork -- we are his workmanship. We can serve but one master. We can serve the world or we can serve God. Human being has this intrinsic thought process to serve or "bow" to someone or something. For some, this is family, work, friends, drugs, sex, and so on. We were created to worship something. As Christians, we have chosen to worship the only being that is truly worthy of worship.
As we choose to worship God, we are choosing to be used by Him. We are choosing to be his workers on earth -- his instruments. We have two options - worship that which is worthy and be an instrument of that which is righteous or worship that which is unworthy and be an instrument of that which is wicked. Choose to be used by the one that is worthy of worship. Let us together offer ourselves to the service of God to be used for righteousness!
AmandaThere is an optimistic belief widespread among the generous-hearted that the average human being has only to become sufficiently acquainted with another's trouble or danger to transfer it to his own shoulders not merely unhesitatingly but gladly. --Margery Allingham
