It would indeed be a blessing to be 100% cured from my medical problems. I continue to pray for relief from the pain that I am constantly in. 5 years ago, while riding a bike, I was hit from behind by a car going 55 miles per hour. I was DOA (dead on arrival) at the hospital. I suffered major head trauma, broken shoulder, broken left arm, all the fingers were broken, a collasped lung, broken ribs, broken hip and broken left leg.
Never have recovered from this accident. I used to work with my now deceased father in the construction business. As you are aware, the construction business requires one to be in really good physical health. After the accident, I couldn't even lift (and still can't) 10 lbs with my left arm. My shoulder was broken in such a manner that the doctor's couldn't repair it completely with surgery, which I have undergone in the past.
Three years ago, I had a massive heart attack. The VA did what they could, put in "stints in my arteries", but my heart is now permanently weak. I am in need of a transplant.
With out an income from labor, I was reliant on the VA for my care and well being. Let me say this folks, the Veteran's Administration has always taken the finest of care of me. I have not one complaint towards the VA. Oddly enough, the VA gives me a pension greater in dollar amount than what Social Security would. And social security drug their feet on my claim for now going on 5 years. The VA came to my aid within 90 days of filing a claim.
Right now I am ever so glad that I spent 6 years serving our country during the Viet Nam era and beyond the ending of the Cold War with Russia. It is ever so important that we support our elected leaders, for what they may be worth, to the fullest. We need to support our Country, and please keep our brave and loyal military personnel in our daily prayers. They are sacrificing well beyond what is expected of them.
I thank you Jesus for all that you have provided me, and let me not forget your sacrifice for the forgiving of my sins, and the gift of eternal life with God our Father. In the holy name of Jesus I pray.
