actions taken are in harmony with the constitution of the land. Do you
suppose they pay any attention as to how the previous rulings have been
made? Why? Is there anything to learn? Did America just drop out of the
sky yesterday with no history and no precedents; no past? Does it make a
difference? It makes no difference if one does not care whether the
judges get it right or not. But it makes a tremendous difference if the
judges are going to understand what was intended by the constitution.
Ed,
your whole analogy has just put a mortal being over us spiritually rather than Christ. We're not talking about laws of the land that have to be interpreted by those in power. We are talking about a law that tells us to let the Holy Spirit help us "personally, individually,
Whether we care or don't care about how judges of this land interpret law.....we only have one Judge...and that is Christ. We must structure our thoughts around Him and what "HE" teaches us and not around the thoughts of "good and wise men who have studied His thoughts for us."
Your last statement just blows my mind. You said: "But it makes a tremendous difference if the
judges are going to understand what was intended by the constitution." You are in essence saying that we "must" have "learned" men interpret what God has said that He would reveal to His High Priest by the HOLY SPIRIT.
May God have mercy on all of us!
Beth
It is the job of the Supreme Court to insure that laws written and
actions taken are in harmony with the constitution of the land. Do you
suppose they pay any attention as to how the previous rulings have been
made?
