I know exactly what you mean Wanda, that's why I rarely ever tell anyone what I'm going through or experiencing because I have been so hurt in the past, especially by believers. At times in the past it's made me wonder if I even wanted to continue being a christian if I was always going to be associated with these people who were so hurtful. But, in the end I stuck it out, and it's changed a little. I STILL have a hard time being open and honest about what I'm facing or experiencing because I have still gotten wounded by believers for it, for being so honest but, oh well.

I never really told a lot of people about my experiences because they said I was crazy or lying or just making it all up. but the people who were close to me knew I was telling the truth. I had ministers ask me who I thought I was that God would do that for me. I actually left church for a while and went into drugs because I was hurt so bad by them.

I have had several encounters, my father was very much a believer, we had just left and went back to California. I had a miscarriage on the way home. He came and sat on the foot of my bed and told me he was leaving, he wanted me to go home and help my mom. We talked for a little while and he was gone.. A little later that morning we heard he had passed away early that morning.

My first encounter I was 31/2, we lived outside of Chicago, and it was in March, it was about 20 below. We had been at a movie theater and saw King Kong versus Godzilla. We lived about 30 miles north of Chicago, by the time we got home, I was asleep. I was left in the car and noone had realized it. There was seven of us and sometimes things happened. I woke up to a whisper in my ear, I saw all kind of strange shadows around the car, then a voice said come with me and we will get you warmed up. Anyway after a little bit I got inside.. Noone every believed me when I told them.

At first I didn't know he was an angel, just that he seemed to glow a little bit to much for a still cloudy day. He was so kind and gentle. I guess what really gave it away is, he called me by name, gave me those band aids that tingled and when I looked down, were gone as well as the cuts, and then he disappeared. I haven't seen him since, but I have such a peace about him.

How did you know it was an angel. i know we are suppose to becare how we deal with everyonr and we all. because we are told that we could be entertaning angels. but i think angels would be dressed like the ordinary people of our day would dress. like in abram's day he had strangers visit him on occasions and they were dressed like strangers, but in fact they were actually messnger angels. i guess one could recoize em by what they would say or do.

I have also had a blessed experience

I was headed to camping trip and as I did

dishes before we left I had an angel (womans voice) tell me something horrible was going to happen on this trip! Well i told

my (nonbeliever) husband and he said "oh whatever" and we still went! So I prayed, prayed and prayed! Well it rained all the first night and the wood got wet so my husband (now ex husband due to physical abuse) said "lets get some gas to help light the fire " well he got Colman lantern fluid! Highly flam-able!!! Well he started drinking early and i started praying early and that evening he went to start the fire with his lantern fluid and it exploded all over him and burnt the top half of his body, tho me and my daughter were just a few feet from him non got on us! He survived and I stuck with him in tell he got enough strength to start beating me up again! But the Lord pulled me out of that one to! AMEN

I've had several encounters dear one.

When I was about four I was walking with my walker down the block and I fell and skinned my hands. Immediately there was a man standing in front of me. He knelt down and helped me up asking me if I'm alright, called me by name and pulled out a couple band aids. They started to tingle a little bit and feel almost like a cleansing deep fire was seeping into my hands so I looked at them for a split second and when I looked up, he had just disappeared. That was the first encounter.
