Naomi, you know how.....you lay it at the Foot of the Cross and DO NOT take it back again. He paid for ALL our guilty sins, not just a select amount. When we are sincerely sorry for something, we apologize to the one we have offended, we ask God for His forgiveness (knowing that He will honor such a request, but still we need to ask Him), and then, KNOW that you are forgiven by Him, and the one we offended?... ..well, IF they choose NOT to forgive you, that is THEIR SIN...their GUILT. Never concern yourself with THAT particular GUILT again.....it is already 'covered'... ...move on....ask for His help in NOT making the same mistake again...but should you fall short....never fear....He is still there....He will pick you up, dust you off, perhaps 'correct' you in some way....a way in which you will FINALLY realize that you have LEARNED a valuable lesson...... .."just leave it"!!!!!
