I have 2 daughters that recently had miscarriages, then I had someone invite me to a baby shower.. Every time I think about I want to cry, they thought I was being silly crying over a child that wasn't born yet, but my daughters are still having problems too, people just think they should get over it.

Hello everyone:

I am working on a chapter in my grief devotioanl about crying. Sometimes others can make us feel guilty because we are crying about the things going on in our lives or the death of someone dear to us. If you had this type of experience, good or bad, please tell me about it and the effect it had on you.

For instance, one person at work put a time limit on the grief her relatives could feel about the death of someone in their family.

Another person told a Mom who had just had a stillborn child: "You should be thankful you have other children at home."

Also share the good things people have done to console you, if you will.
