Brent never mentioned either the church of Christ or being a preacher in one.
All he said was that the preacher settled the issue.
And it is possible that for Brent, the issue WAS settled by that man's teaching.
But where you got the rest I don't know.

Brent didn't squelch or divide anything, Clay. He thinks, for some reason, that the Foy gentleman gave a good enough argument to end the debate. And he would be wrong that premillenialism is gone from the church.
But he never said any of things you suggest. Not one of them.
