Bro Ed I have "NO PROBLEM" with Foy E Wallace except his divisive attitude towards those wuth whom he disagreed.
I have no problem with Brent other than his untackful approach.
Foy Wallace settled "nothing" 70 years ago.
If he had, we wouldn't be disagreeing.
It does bother me when we alighn ourselves behind brother Any E One
as if they "setteled" anything.
There are soooo many in the CoC/SOF that will pick up a book written
by "OUR BRETREN" and swallow it without though or question because
"OUR BRETREN" wrote it.
I once was of this persuasion until I noticed that for practically
any issue you can bring up, one of "OUR BRETREN" has written a book
on it in direct contradiction to another of "OUR BRETHREN"
So then we decide which of our brethren I prefer and then blindly accept what he wrote.
That is exactly why the CoC/SOF is one of the most divisive groups
that exist.
Why can't we stick to the subject and the text and avoid promoting
one autheor over another?
Which "traditional view" do we follow when seemingly there is no traditional view except split and divide?
Paul taught division, BUT IT IS RARE and many times we ignore the context.
As far as Paranoia, I am, concerning division!
Just defending myself a tad.
