I don't know that there is much, if any, case law in this area, but I don't see that this would be any different that the Catholic Church refusing to perform a second marriage in a situation where the church does not recognize a divorce under state law. I can't imagine a court a hearing a lawsuit on those grounds and I think the same would apply if a gay church member was denied the opportunity to be married in that church.
(I don't mean to pick on the Catholic Church, but they are the only ones who exert as much control over marriages that I am aware.)
