[FamilyofGod] can a man get pregnant and give birth.....??
You must remember that this is a kind of a riddle or parable of sorts.
When Jesus said you must be born again people couldn't get past the natural and think in the spiritual. Jesus was refering to being born of the Spirit.
Now here I am talking in the Spirit also and in the Spirit both men and women can get pregnant and give birth.
Paul talked of travailing in birth in the spirit
Gal 4:19
My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
You see Gods' word is like a seed and gets implanted in our hearts.
Luk 8:11
Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
Our hearts are the womb that we hold and nurish the word in till it is mature and brings forth fruit ( birth)
1Pe 1:23
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever
The greek here says not of corruptable Sperm (spora- gk.) but incorruptible by the word of God....
this is the amplified version of that same scripture...
23You have been regenerated (born again), not from a mortal [d]origin ([e]seed, sperm), but from one that is immortal by the ever living and lasting Word of God.
24For all flesh (mankind) is like grass, and all its glory (honor) like [the] flower of grass. The grass withers and the flower drops off,
25But the Word of the Lord ([f]divine instruction, the Gospel) endures forever. And this Word is the good news which was preached to you.(B)
So what comes to me through the word and I believe in my heart can impregnate me with a dream, a vision and it can dwell inside me and be nurished through prayer and faith and come to term and be manifested in the natural realm.
travailing in bith is not just for women but men of God as they learn that they too can be pregnant with the word of God......
