I agree that the families of both men need prayer, as does the one who murdered the doctor.

I know this may sound odd, but this family needs prayers. If you haven't seen the news, the abortion doctor that has been in business for about 30 years I think was murdered yesterday while he was at church and his wife was in the choir singing. His name was Dr. George Tiller. Murdered by a man with a Jesus fish proudly displaying on his back bumper. It was in Kansas I believe.
For a moment, don't think about your views on abortion -- whatever they may be. This man was a husband, a grandfather, a father, a friend, and so on. He was loved, and the people that are now without him in their lives are hurting deeply. Please, pray for this family. I don't think anyone will argue that the family needs prayers because they are hurting and missing someone they love deeply.
Secondly, pray for this man that committed this crime. He too needs prayers.

There is an optimistic belief widespread among the generous-hearted that the average human being has only to become sufficiently acquainted with another's trouble or danger to transfer it to his own shoulders not merely unhesitatingly but gladly. --Margery Allingham
