I don't think that is a silly request at all. We all misplace documents. When we need a document, Only God knows where they are. Will pray Mary.   Almighty Father,   We bring Mary to You Lord. She is in distress over finding some valuable documents. Guide her Lord  to find where they are. This we ask in Jesus' name amen.
