Re: TOP TEN SIGNS YOU'RE A (CHRISTIAN) FUNDAMENTALIST - ExChristian.Net - Articles

Am I to assume that each of you who responded to me have considered the information that I have provided?

Hey, Forgetful Freddy, in your initial post, the name of your blog (in the link you provided) contains the phrase, "Atheism is dead", which is untrue. Atheism is alive, well, and growing.

So, if the mere title of your "information" contains a blantant lie, why should I believe that the "information", itself, isn't full of them? I guess what I'm saying is that you have zero credibilty, as far as I'm concerned. Notwithstanding, if you think that you have some objective evidence that we haven't heard before that confirms the existence of invisible, conscious beings - namely, your 3-in-1 biblegod - let's see it. Otherwise, beat it.

That's the most reasonable thing I've ever heard from a trolling christian on this site.

Sorry man. I didn't see the purpose of the site. My bad. I'll shut up then.

i would teach them about all religious both the positive aspects of it, and the negative ones. teach them about social issues that many are dealing with. explain why you do not believe in god, and tell them that they have a choice in the end and that you will love them no matter what! thats important there!

lol That is too funny. I don't think I want to give up thinking. It is to much of a valuable commodity to give up. A mind is a terrible things to waste, much less allow to rot while still alive.

Mariano, atheism is alive and well. It will continue to be alive and well as long as there is one sentient being in the universe that does not believe in gods.

It is highly unlikely that anyone could destroy atheism on Earth, because in every generation there is at least one person who doubts the dubious drivel that has been presented to them as "The Truth."

And ridicule works just fine for Me, thanks. Produce empirical evidence for your imaginary friend, or STFU.

Thanks Webmdave,
in these days of near constant christian troll attacks a little levity is good for the bowels. I can now relax in peace on my ceramic pulpit. Watch out Benny Hinn, this one's for you. Bombs away!

Am I to assume that each of you who responded to me have considered the information that I have provided?

Or in typical activist atheist form are you simply incapable of engaging upon reasoned discourse?

Are you at all capable of actually practice true skepticism and considering my evidence?

Or will you satisfy yourselves by concocting arguments for ridicule?

Re: I Did Not Understand - Testimonies of Ex-Christians

I understand that different cultures and religions have understandings about the spiritual realm. However, Christianity claims to know all about the spirit world. Is there anything we can know for sure? I'm definitely uncomfortable with tarot reading and palmistry, but does it work?

You are welcome. Thanks for the kind words.

I am fairly new to this site, but I am impressed with the honesty of the people that are here. It seems rare to find people being so open on a public forum.

I think we have all had some common experiences. It is good to share them. I lived much of my own life with guilt and shame and fear that was foisted upon me by pious, religious people. I actually felt worthless at times. It is good that we can come here and build one another up again.
