I know how you feel Bonnie. It would sure be a temptation to keep the papers. But I would mail them just so you can have a clear conscience. I for sure wouldn't bring them in person. I'm glad you are reading the bible that I'm posting.
Hear, O Israel! Yahweh is our God, Yahweh is one!

Subject: Re: [FamilyofGod] Leviticus 6-7, Matthew 25:1-30
I have
a question for the group. I rent rooms to pay my mortgage as my
husband is gone. we are divorced. he refuses to pay half the mortgage until the
house is sold which was ordered by the court, so I have to pay it alone. I
took in a young couple that said they would help around the house and wanted to
be like family . So with my big heart I took them in. I did many things for them
which included, buying them many things including clothes, etc. Well because of
their not so good life style they took advantage of me.
The girl
had mental and drug porblems and the boyfriend had mental problems. I talked to
both of them many times about the issues they had that were effecting my home
and life. They admitted to it and said they would get help. they never did.
About 6
weeks ago we went to the county fair with the girls daughter which she does not
have custody of. The boyfriend whom has a past of choking his girlfriend, did so
at the fair infront of the little girl, me, and his relatives. She ran and he
ran in different directions. I took the little girl to the van to leave. This
boyfriend was waiting inbetween cars hiding and attacked me infront of the
little girl. He broke my nose and cheek bone. I ended up in the hospital. I was
in alot of pain. He was arrested but because of our wonderful justice system all
he got was a $500 fine. I was livid but I had to let go of the
anger.
Since
then the girl left my house as she felt sorry for her boyfriend in jail whom
abuses her badly. So because I had him arrested she brought false charges
against me and said I called her and threated when I get through with her no one
will recognize her. I have never hit anyone in my life. So now I have to go back
and forth to court may times before the thing gets resolved.
The part
that I wanted to discuss is they had left papers here that I found recently when
I was packing as I have to sell the house. These are papers they wanted after
they were out of my house. I thought they took everything with them. So I have
these papers but I am so reluctant to let them know as everything I have
been through was horrendous and is still going on. these are papers they
can get again, like birth certificates and other documents. I know its wrong but
I really don't want to make their life easy for a good reason, and also
they are the type that would act like no matter what I did its not good enough
for them.
Should I
give the papers too them even though I am going to court for false charges? I
have an order of protection for the boyfriend beating me. So I don't want to go
around him or the girlfriend who is also dangerous. What should I do?
I know
we are to turn the other cheek and not hold bitterness towards those who harm
us. Its just that these 2 will laugh and say they got over on me and it won't
mean a thing to them. Like throwing pearls to swine.
But I
got reading this verse below sent in By George and now I wonder should I
give them back the papers?
Bonnie
4Then it shall be, because he
hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently
away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered
him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,
