Our Loving Father,

We are coming to Your Holy presence with Barbara and her household. Oh Lord have mercy on her and her situation. We dedicate her into Your keeping.
We pray for her eye infection. May Your healing hands touch and heal her. Strengthen her to be there for all her loved ones. We pray for Steve, provide for his needs Lord.Have mercy on Tammy, her husband, Delynn with half a lung and Scott .Take control of this household Father and may Your presence change all things , so that Barb will be comforted. We pray for her married life. Bless them Lord and may the holy Spirit dwell in her to  find peace that passes all understanding. This we pray in Jesus' name, amen.

Hi Mary Ann,

Do tell Barbara we love her and she is in our prayers. These are too many things for one woman to carry. Yet she is so graceful in her posts. Praying for her.

Subject: [FamilyofGod] PRAYER REQUEST FOR BARB AND FAMILY

I just got off the phone with my friend Barb in Ga. and the whole family needs prayer.
I honestly don't know at times how Barb is holding up with all she has gone thru
the past years.

l.  Her son Steve, who is still not receiving disability but has reapplied for it,
was in ER again last night.  It seems Barb and Steve go to ER several times a week if not
more and end up sitting 5-6 hrs. because they don't have any coverage so they take
them in last.  Steve now has a large cyst on the back of his leg and he has to see another
Dr. and they might have to operate, they are not sure.  He is on crutches now.   He is
still suffering severe head aches, seizures and seeing Drs. when he can.  They say he
has MS.   He is in his 40's and very, very depressed.  He is living with Barb and Ed and
Barb is raising his 2 sons.  The mother disowned the boys yrs. ago.

2.  Barb's daughter Tammy is going thru a lot of stress and dignosed with Bi polar.
Her husband is not working and they will be losing their home and vehicle if he does
not find another job.  Her husband called Barb today and said Tammy is not doing well
at all.  This has been going on for a year now and he just can't find work.

3.  Her son Delynn is not doing well, he only has half of one lung.  He is single and
very depressed.  He had been heavy in drugs and drinking and many close calls but
he stopped about a yr. ago.  Barb said he is drinking again and this a big concern for her.

4. Barbs son Scott was a Pastor.  Scott's wife left him for another man about a yr. ago
and Scott stepped down as Pastor and has gone through a very difficult time.

5.  Barb has very bad eye infection, she has been on anti biotics and is not clearing up, she
said its worse this week and she can only see a bit out of her right eye.  She has to drive
Steve to the Drs. and ER and she said she is managing to do that.

There are so many needs and Barb said she really needs prayer.  I told her I will put in another
request and let people know what the needs are.  She has a very difficult marriage and home
life as well so they really need our prayers. She is a woman of Faith and really prays for
others, now she needs our prayers.  She is a wonderful woman and very dear friend.
 Thank you, Mary ann

One night I dreamed a dream.
I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belonging to me and one to my Lord.
When the last scene of my life shot before me I looked back at the footprints in the sand. There was only one set of footprints. I realized that this was at the lowest and saddest times of my life. This always bothered me and I questioned the Lord about my dilemma.
"Lord, You told me when I decided to follow You, You would walk and talk with me all the way. But I'm aware that during the most troublesome times of my life there is only one set of footprints. I just don't understand why, when I need You most, You leave me."
He whispered, "My precious child, I love you and will never leave you, never, ever, during your trials and testings. When you saw only one set of footprints, It was then that I carried you."

I have a question for the group. I rent rooms to pay my mortgage as my husband is gone. we are divorced. he refuses to pay half the mortgage until the house is sold which was ordered by the court, so I have to pay it alone. I took in a young couple that said they would help around the house and wanted to be like family . So with my big heart I took them in. I did many things for them which included, buying them many things including clothes, etc. Well because of their not so good life style they took advantage of me.

The girl had mental and drug porblems and the boyfriend had mental problems. I talked to both of them many times about the issues they had that were effecting my home and life. They admitted to it and said they would get help. they never did.

About 6 weeks ago we went to the county fair with the girls daughter which she does not have custody of. The boyfriend whom has a past of choking his girlfriend, did so at the fair infront of the little girl, me, and his relatives. She ran and he ran in different directions. I took the little girl to the van to leave. This boyfriend was waiting inbetween cars hiding and attacked me infront of the little girl. He broke my nose and cheek bone. I ended up in the hospital. I was in alot of pain. He was arrested but because of our wonderful justice system all he got was a $500 fine. I was livid but I had to let go of the anger.

Since then the girl left my house as she felt sorry for her boyfriend in jail whom abuses her badly. So because I had him arrested she brought false charges against me and said I called her and threated when I get through with her no one will recognize her. I have never hit anyone in my life. So now I have to go back and forth to court may times before the thing gets resolved.

The part that I wanted to discuss is they had left papers here that I found recently when I was packing as I have to sell the house. These are papers they wanted after they were out of my house. I thought they took everything with them. So I have these papers but I am so reluctant to let them know as everything I have been through was horrendous and is still going on. these are papers they can get again, like birth certificates and other documents. I know its wrong but I really don't want to make their life easy for a good reason, and also they are the type that would act like no matter what I did its not good enough for them.

Should I give the papers too them even though I am going to court for false charges? I have an order of protection for the boyfriend beating me. So I don't want to go around him or the girlfriend who is also dangerous. What should I do?

I know we are to turn the other cheek and not hold bitterness towards those who harm us. Its just that these 2 will laugh and say they got over on me and it won't mean a thing to them. Like throwing pearls to swine.

But I got reading this verse below sent in By George and now I wonder should I give them back the papers?

Bonnie

4Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,

Leviticus 6-7, Matthew 25:1-30(King James Version)
Leviticus 6
1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

2If a soul sin, and commit a trespass against the LORD, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour;

3Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein:

4Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,

5Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering.

6And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest:

7And the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD: and it shall be forgiven him for any thing of all that he hath done in trespassing therein.

8And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

9Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.

10And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.

11And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.

12And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.

13The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.

14And this is the law of the meat offering: the sons of Aaron shall offer it before the LORD, before the altar.

15And he shall take of it his handful, of the flour of the meat offering, and of the oil thereof, and all the frankincense which is upon the meat offering, and shall burn it upon the altar for a sweet savour, even the memorial of it, unto the LORD.

16And the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons eat: with unleavened bread shall it be eaten in the holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation they shall eat it.

17It shall not be baken with leaven. I have given it unto them for their portion of my offerings made by fire; it is most holy, as is the sin offering, and as the trespass offering.

18All the males among the children of Aaron shall eat of it. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations concerning the offerings of the LORD made by fire: every one that toucheth them shall be holy.

19And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

20This is the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer unto the LORD in the day when he is anointed; the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meat offering perpetual, half of it in the morning, and half thereof at night.

21In a pan it shall be made with oil; and when it is baken, thou shalt bring it in: and the baken pieces of the meat offering shalt thou offer for a sweet savour unto the LORD.

22And the priest of his sons that is anointed in his stead shall offer it: it is a statute for ever unto the LORD; it shall be wholly burnt.

23For every meat offering for the priest shall be wholly burnt: it shall not be eaten.

24And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

25Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This is the law of the sin offering: In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the sin offering be killed before the LORD: it is most holy.

26The priest that offereth it for sin shall eat it: in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of the congregation.

27Whatsoever shall touch the flesh thereof shall be holy: and when there is sprinkled of the blood thereof upon any garment, thou shalt wash that whereon it was sprinkled in the holy place.

28But the earthen vessel wherein it is sodden shall be broken: and if it be sodden in a brasen pot, it shall be both scoured, and rinsed in water.

29All the males among the priests shall eat thereof: it is most holy.

30And no sin offering, whereof any of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of the congregation to reconcile withal in the holy place, shall be eaten: it shall be burnt in the fire.

Leviticus 7
1Likewise this is the law of the trespass offering: it is most holy.

2In the place where they kill the burnt offering shall they kill the trespass offering: and the blood thereof shall he sprinkle round about upon the altar.

3And he shall offer of it all the fat thereof; the rump, and the fat that covereth the inwards,

4And the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the caul that is above the liver, with the kidneys, it shall he take away:

5And the priest shall burn them upon the altar for an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a trespass offering.

6Every male among the priests shall eat thereof: it shall be eaten in the holy place: it is most holy.

7As the sin offering is, so is the trespass offering: there is one law for them: the priest that maketh atonement therewith shall have it.

8And the priest that offereth any man's burnt offering, even the priest shall have to himself the skin of the burnt offering which he hath offered.

9And all the meat offering that is baken in the oven, and all that is dressed in the fryingpan, and in the pan, shall be the priest's that offereth it.

10And every meat offering, mingled with oil, and dry, shall all the sons of Aaron have, one as much as another.

11And this is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he shall offer unto the LORD.

12If he offer it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mingled with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mingled with oil, of fine flour, fried.

13Besides the cakes, he shall offer for his offering leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving of his peace offerings.

14And of it he shall offer one out of the whole oblation for an heave offering unto the LORD, and it shall be the priest's that sprinkleth the blood of the peace offerings.

15And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten the same day that it is offered; he shall not leave any of it until the morning.

16But if the sacrifice of his offering be a vow, or a voluntary offering, it shall be eaten the same day that he offereth his sacrifice: and on the morrow also the remainder of it shall be eaten:

17But the remainder of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burnt with fire.

18And if any of the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings be eaten at all on the third day, it shall not be accepted, neither shall it be imputed unto him that offereth it: it shall be an abomination, and the soul that eateth of it shall bear his iniquity.

19And the flesh that toucheth any unclean thing shall not be eaten; it shall be burnt with fire: and as for the flesh, all that be clean shall eat thereof.

20But the soul that eateth of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, that pertain unto the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

21Moreover the soul that shall touch any unclean thing, as the uncleanness of man, or any unclean beast, or any abominable unclean thing, and eat of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which pertain unto the LORD, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

22And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

23Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, Ye shall eat no manner of fat, of ox, or of sheep, or of goat.

24And the fat of the beast that dieth of itself, and the fat of that which is torn with beasts, may be used in any other use: but ye shall in no wise eat of it.

25For whosoever eateth the fat of the beast, of which men offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD, even the soul that eateth it shall be cut off from his people.

26Moreover ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings.

27Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people.

28And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

29Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, He that offereth the sacrifice of his peace offerings unto the LORD shall bring his oblation unto the LORD of the sacrifice of his peace offerings.

30His own hands shall bring the offerings of the LORD made by fire, the fat with the breast, it shall he bring, that the breast may be waved for a wave offering before the LORD.

31And the priest shall burn the fat upon the altar: but the breast shall be Aaron's and his sons'.

32And the right shoulder shall ye give unto the priest for an heave offering of the sacrifices of your peace offerings.

33He among the sons of Aaron, that offereth the blood of the peace offerings, and the fat, shall have the right shoulder for his part.

34For the wave breast and the heave shoulder have I taken of the children of Israel from off the sacrifices of their peace offerings, and have given them unto Aaron the priest and unto his sons by a statute for ever from among the children of Israel.

35This is the portion of the anointing of Aaron, and of the anointing of his sons, out of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, in the day when he presented them to minister unto the LORD in the priest's office;

36Which the LORD commanded to be given them of the children of Israel, in the day that he anointed them, by a statute for ever throughout their generations.

37This is the law of the burnt offering, of the meat offering, and of the sin offering, and of the trespass offering, and of the consecrations, and of the sacrifice of the peace offerings;

38Which the LORD commanded Moses in mount Sinai, in the day that he commanded the children of Israel to offer their oblations unto the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai.

Matthew 25
1Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

2And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

3They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

4But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

5While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

6And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

7Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

8And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

9But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

10And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

11Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

12But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

13Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

14For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.

15And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.

16Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.

17And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.

18But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.

19After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.

20And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

21His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

22He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.

23His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

24Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:

25And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

26His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:

27Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

28Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.

29For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

30And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Hear, O Israel! Yahweh is our God, Yahweh is one!

I know how you feel Bonnie. It would sure be a temptation to keep the papers. But I would mail them just so you can have a clear conscience. I for sure wouldn't bring them in person. I'm glad you are reading the bible that I'm posting.
Hear, O Israel! Yahweh is our God, Yahweh is one!

Subject: Re: [FamilyofGod] Leviticus 6-7, Matthew 25:1-30

I have
a question for the group. I rent rooms to pay my mortgage as my
husband is gone. we are divorced. he refuses to pay half the mortgage until the
house is sold which was ordered by the court, so I have to pay it alone. I
took in a young couple that said they would help around the house and wanted to
be like family . So with my big heart I took them in. I did many things for them
which included, buying them many things including clothes, etc. Well because of
their not so good life style they took advantage of me.

The girl
had mental and drug porblems and the boyfriend had mental problems. I talked to
both of them many times about the issues they had that were effecting my home
and life. They admitted to it and said they would get help. they never did.

About 6
weeks ago we went to the county fair with the girls daughter which she does not
have custody of. The boyfriend whom has a past of choking his girlfriend, did so
at the fair infront of the little girl, me, and his relatives. She ran and he
ran in different directions. I took the little girl to the van to leave. This
boyfriend was waiting inbetween cars hiding and attacked me infront of the
little girl. He broke my nose and cheek bone. I ended up in the hospital. I was
in alot of pain. He was arrested but because of our wonderful justice system all
he got was a $500 fine. I was livid but I had to let go of the
anger.

Since
then the girl left my house as she felt sorry for her boyfriend in jail whom
abuses her badly. So because I had him arrested she brought false charges
against me and said I called her and threated when I get through with her no one
will recognize her. I have never hit anyone in my life. So now I have to go back
and forth to court may times before the thing gets resolved.

The part
that I wanted to discuss is they had left papers here that I found recently when
I was packing as I have to sell the house. These are papers they wanted after
they were out of my house. I thought they took everything with them. So I have
these papers but I am so reluctant to let them know as everything I have
been through was horrendous and is still going on. these are papers they
can get again, like birth certificates and other documents. I know its wrong but
I really don't want to make their life easy for a good reason, and also
they are the type that would act like no matter what I did its not good enough
for them.

Should I
give the papers too them even though I am going to court for false charges? I
have an order of protection for the boyfriend beating me. So I don't want to go
around him or the girlfriend who is also dangerous. What should I do?

I know
we are to turn the other cheek and not hold bitterness towards those who harm
us. Its just that these 2 will laugh and say they got over on me and it won't
mean a thing to them. Like throwing pearls to swine.

But I
got reading this verse below sent in By George and now I wonder should I
give them back the papers?

Bonnie

4Then it shall be, because he
hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently
away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered
him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,

beware of Christian and non Christian groups that are mean spriited

I joined a Christian group that seems to be run by a cultish personality that comes down on anyone who does not conform to her ways. She insists that no one ever talk about anything negative. If you do you are given one warning and then you are thrown off the group and put down infront of the group like a stoning. Like if you share your going through hard times she will attack you for sharing it. Its sick. I tried to talk to the owner of the group and she just bashed me and called me all kinds of names and belittling me. So I said maybe God does not want me here and I just let it go. Several from the group were upset but she told everyone in the group they are not allowed to talk to me or me to them off the group. Some still email me off the group.though But How controling is that for this owner to control the memebers like that? Something is just not right about that group. Like its new age stuff. I want no part of any group that is cultish and the leader becomes their god.

Hi Barbara,
You and I are almost the same. We can get argumentative, which is not a good thing. I think we shouldn't be in groups that aren't conducive to our spiritual growth. I was invited to one recently, I joined and I am telling you they really needed God in there. people were so rude to each other and I was wondering what I was doing there. So I posted a nice prayer and the moderator said, no conversions are allowed, because we do not believe in God, because He is not there when we need Him. Okay. well then, I decided that was not my place, and I knew that I am not going to be nicer with all those members carrying on fights there. So I unsubscribed. The owner keeps sending me invites, but I know now that we shouldn't be associating with people who are bent on being ungodly. So I know how you feel. Can't win them all.

I was in a group at the time I was even more confused than now. I discussed the possibility of me studying with the Jehovah's Witnesses, even though the list rules told us not to get into arguments. I was rightly kicked out.

later on, when I apologized and tried to go back in with the condition that I wont get into any of that again, I was not allowed in. And this really hurt. I considered them brothers and sisters.

I am wondering if Christians are obliged to give second chances. I was never rude, just perhaps argumentative. I am wondering if I am too needy of love and acceptance.

how do I handle rejection? there are other groups who like me. Is it my ego, then? I had a desire to make things right, but it was denied.

I am wondering if you've ever been through the same

luv,barbara

I want no part of any group that is cultish and
the leader becomes their god.

>Hi Barbara,
>  You and I are almost the same.

He is on crutches now..   He is
still suffering severe head aches, seizures and seeing Drs. when he can.  They say he

 Thank you, Mary ann

jail ministries

With the holiday season fast approaching I start to think about what I can do to show my gratitude to God. I try to think of the people to whom I can share my gratitude with and I think of the inmates at all the facilities. I was incarcerated for three years and I spent that time in several of those facilities, most of which I was lucky enough to have caring people to spend there time coming to share the word of God with me. Most people think of inmates and think the worst, in most cases they are just people who have made some bad choices. Consider sharing some of your time this year giving back, check with your local jail and find out how you can get involved with the jail ministries program in your area. I know from experience that it is greatly appreciated.

My son Greg just phoned me, he got hurt at work today.  He was working in the Wharehouse
and walking by a ventialiation duct and caught his leg somehow, cut himself and had to be taken to ER.
by a co worker.  He had 14 stitches in his leg but he seems okay now.  He was 5 hrs. waiting at the hospital.
He is a little embarassed he said as he just started the new job a few wks. ago and he has had problems
with a tooth and needs the root canal, infection and had to leave work for that one day.  They can't do his tooth
for another month till infection clears up.   Now today he had to leave work again.   Please pray protection over
him and things settle down.  He likes his job so far and does not need to lose it over all this.

Heavenly Father I ask a hedge of protection be over and around Greg at work..  Lord I plead Jesus blood
over him and I ask you keep him safe from all harm and any plans satan has against him.   I plead your Blood
over Him and look to you for protection.  I bind all plans of the enemy and call forth your plans for his life.
In Jesus name I pray.  Amen and Amen.  Mary ann
