Iwas in the same position with the minister that took over my church wen my pastor died. he said that i had to do things his way rather than the way we were taught.He told me i had to stay with the man that had been abusing me for years, everyone knew what was going on but they wanted to see what was going to happen. I love my church but he said if i remarried my husband wouldn't be welcome.

Wanda, that is what hurted. Because they never gave me another chance. and they won't answer my emails, neither will I continue to ask.

I was in a group at the time I was even more confused than now. I discussed the possibility of me studying with the Jehovah's Witnesses, even though the list rules told us not to get into arguments. I was rightly kicked out.

later on, when I apologized and tried to go back in with the condition that I wont get into any of that again, I was not allowed in. And this really hurt. I considered them brothers and sisters.

I am wondering if Christians are obliged to give second chances. I was never rude, just perhaps argumentative. I am wondering if I am too needy of love and acceptance.

how do I handle rejection? there are other groups who like me. Is it my ego, then? I had a desire to make things right, but it was denied.
