[FamilyofGod] Holiday-Season Prayer Request
dear Family Of God brothers and sisters,
With the Holiday Season fast approaching, please take time out daily for the months of November and December to pray for those out there who do NOT have any family members to enjoy any or all of it with for whatever reason. For many of them who are Christians, the Church family is the only family they literally have (and, yes, I do know a few of them personally and for their sakes my heart breaks daily over my concern for their well-being throughout this Season). Amid all the shopping sprees, gift exchanges, parties, craft fairs, concerts and the like that's so characteristic of our lives at this time of the year, we're definitely going to become so preoccupied with ourselves and with those closest to us that we'll forget all about these lonely ones who need a special touch of Jesus' love and fellowship. God forbid us to become so hard-hearted at such a time of year as this! I thank you all in FG for your prayers for them.
