[FamilyofGod] Hello everyone!
It has been quite sometime since I have been able to sit in front of the computer for any length of time and write. I have been sick with a very bad cold and old back injury resurfacing after coughing so much and so deeply. It was truely terrible, but God is faithful and he has healed me. But I do have to confess, my prayer life has suffered, as it was difficult to concentrate and pray, plus missing church didn't help.
The update on my husband is that things are slow but seeminly steady. We see each other once a week but he still won't allow me back in his life other than those moments we share together. Although he did call me to ask for help yesterday with moving some items from the house an then later when I went home he called me to come back over, which is unusual for him, especially since we spent time together the day before. It breaks my heart because he still needs Christ, but I just quitely leave it in prayer.
I do have a prayer request... As you know I am in need of working days on my job (7am-3pm). Well we are suppose to bid for our position, days and shift this coming Monday, however, because I and a few others are on probation until after the bidding process is complete, we are exept from bidding and will get what is left over. I don't care about what days I get (all though I would prefer Mon./ Tue off), and just about any position is ok with me, all I need prayer for is to be albe to stay on the Day shift (and for the prayer life and walk with Christ that is mine and my daughters). This can only happen with Godly intervention. My daughter and I appreciate the prayers, thank you.
