Hello Marybeth and welcome. I totally agree with you Sis. The Word instructs the people of God to pray for our leaders---spiritual and government. President Obama is only a man who will find himself in many dilemmas about making decisions for the nation along with Senate & the House. Just like all other Presidents of the great nation Obama will not leave office until God releases him, whether we like it or not. True people of God will be obedient to his Word according to 2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. The land is sick with sin, it's time to fast and pray for our nation. We need God's divine protection and direction even for our individual lives.
