Wow, Roger! What a tough situation to be in -- but, there are guidelines for that situation. 1Cor. chapter 5 speaks about church members who sin. We are told to "deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of his body in order that the spirit may be saved in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ." Do this after we follow the instructions given to speak to the sinner -- one person first and if he doesn't turn around, then we are to send a group of fellow believers. If that fails, then follow the instructions in Corinthians. Now, I don't know if this includes kicking him out of the church altogether or not...... Research it more, maybe.....

Good morning patricia. I know my friend. I know in my heart that i helped enabled him..not helped. That what happen`s when a person does not ask the HOLY GHOST for guidence.

AND THIS WORD IS BEING BROUGHT BACK TO YOUR REMEMBRANCE AGAIN FOR YOUR SAKE ROGER:

For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

True men and women of God are going to be tried for righteousness sake, so feel good about yourself that you are a true man of God because of your boldness for Christ. We have to rebuke and reprove often but it is up to the individual to walk in obedience according to God's Holy Word.

I need prayer my friend`s. There was a gentleman in our church that was in error. This person felt that he could stand with the choir and sing, while he was drunk and high. I had to say thing`s to him on different occasion, as he was drinking at our church when he helped out. On more then one occasion he referred to me as a pharasee, not only to me,but to other`s as well. He is entitled to his opinion..only he failed to mention to people that he was using in the church. Well he ended up leaving with an older lady and going to another church, and we wished him well. That did not last long, she had to tell him she could no longer afford to help him. And i have paid him for helping me out in the past.as have other`s. I do not dislike him, it`s just that he is a wolf in sheep`s clothing. Well..now it seem`s that he feel`s that i have alot to do with his current state of affair`s, which is not true. As care taker for our church i was put into a position of authority and i take that serious. To make matter`s worse, he is an ordained minister and he reeked of alcohol. please pray that GOD touches his heart. He is slamming me with false rumor`s. And my heart as well..i have forgiven him..even though he is still doing it. I just do not want anything to do with him at all. I do pray for him..although i admit at times it is hard. thank you.
