I can definatly sypathyze my sweet mama, I've been to that point too. Many many great men and women of God have gone through what they called "The dark night of the soul." It's very common to feel unworthy sometimes. I'm STILL on my way to getting over it. I'm not there yet, no way, but by the grace of God, I will overcome, and so will you. This is yet another of the enemy's tactics to get us to stop talking to God. If we feel unworthy to be forgiven, we wont ask and it will just become face value prayer, and soon we will feel unworthy for even that. The enemy's nearly fool-proof plan. I was looking up worthy earlier and here are some scriptures I found. I hope they help some, at least to fight the lies with scripture, the best defence.

Eph 4:1

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.

Phl 1:27

Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel

Col 1:10

And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,

1Th 2:12

encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory.

2Th 1:5

All this is evidence that God's judgment is right, and as a result you will be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering.

Subject: [FamilyofGod] I feel very lost

Hello all! I have been reading posts for a while now but never sent anything. I am in a bind. I feel so very lost like my life has spun out of control. I was doing so great felt so good when I realized that my faith was all I really needed to be happy. For some reason temptation is every where now. I also get to a point that I think I need "the finer things in life" I want to get these bad thoughts out of my head I want to feel what I felt when I found the Lord. I used to think "Wow how can anyone ever lose this feeling or stray?" It felt too good so right! Now I am lost. I need to get back to the word of God to prayer every day back to whats right. Is it normal to feel un worthy? To have a thought of " how can I ask to be forgiven now?" Please anyone with words that will open my eyes. Thank You all and God Bless You
