After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brothers of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. There He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. ............ .....Matthew 17:1-2

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the special relationship that we have with You through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. With Him, we can travel through the lowest valleys in our lives, the valleys that seem so deep that without the Light of Jesus we could not see out of the darkness. And with Him we can experience the joy of mountain top pleasures where we can feel the beauty and serenity of life. I pray for those, Dear Lord, who are stuck in the darkness of the valley of their lives and cannot find their way out because they do not have the Light of Jesus to guide their way. I pray that they will fall on their knees and call out the name of Jesus, for we have faith to believe that He has been with them all along. That they only need to reach out for Him. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
