most of the muslims i've had to deal with are not good people. not one of them would flinch at killing someone, and they treat women like dirt. i have yet to meet one that i would trust. sorry.

Ok Im not saying that we shold asume thay r all bad but I haveto say america needs to take a stand if we dont stop leting every one in that feels like being hear then we will most likely end up being over thrown if on cuntry is blowing us up and binging us tererist tacks then we need to keep all who could be afileated with them isalated from us to protect awer selves but on the other hand we r a free cuntry and beleve that all who live on this earth should be free and can not stand by and watch a nother cuntry inslave thair owen people so what do we do

I was actually resisting the urge to come into this discussion as there always tends to be a possibility for great and heated debate.

I know Muslims personally and I can honestly say that they do not act in the way that was described in the original email. In the same way that there are many different forms of Christianity AND many different kinds of Christians, there too are various forms of Islam and practitioners of Islam in this world. The terrorists that claim to be doing their horrific acts "in the name of Allah" have chosen to misinterpret the writings of the Quran (Koran). There are certainly many aspects of the Islamic faith that I would never subscribe to, such as polygamy and bride-burning. But, Islam is not the only religion that advocates such practices. I guess my personal stand is to look at the character of each person and not the religion they subscribe to.

Anyway, not trying to cause a stir here or anything. Nor be drawn into a debate of sorts. We are all entitled to our own opinions about religion (as well as politics).
