Praying for you Deb. Praying for your friends Allyson and Eddie too. It isn't always easy to do the right thing.
And yeah, I know that you must have felt an initial surge of gloating when you first found out that your enemies had fallen... a sense of justice on your behalf. But I have to admire that you 1. admit to it and 2. are asking for forgiveness for it.
