Family of God: [FamilyofGod] Interesting Testimony

Our family came to Christ from Hinduism through my mother getting converted here in Kuwait. Then... my dad gets baptized too in Bangalore, India and at that time, I was a little kid (don't really remember the age). I was born in a Hindu family in Bangalore, India and I had passion for idols like kids do for toys these days. One of my favorites was the elephant idol - Ganesh. As was the custom of its festival, the idol of mud was drowned in water but I collected them every year. After a usual day of playing with my idols, it was bedtime and I went to my bed which was in a dark room with no bed lights... I don't remember if I was alone or not. Anyway... we had this wooden board with a verse from the Bible... "All things are possible to him that believeth." Mark 9: 23... I still got that board with me. So, yea... there were two yellow and red tulips on the board and from them... I saw a small man-like image in white robe and a white crown and with all his glory... I couldn't see the face or anything 'cuz of the light covering him and He was much brighter than our sun... He started walking toward me closer and closer and His light started illuminating the pitch-dark room; mind you... this is not a vision... I saw it as I was awake... then the image goes bigger and bigger. And then out of fear I let out a loud cry... "JESUS!" With your common sense you can imagine a small boy out of fear in such a situation screaming out "Dad!" or "Mom!" but I said something else which I'd never uttered with my mouth before. That was the first time I said, "Jesus." That itself is a miracle... my parents come to see me then and I was shaking so terribly. I believe that encounter was supposed to change my life but after I got into Kuwait... my mom expected me to grow much more spiritually.

I kinda did... but as I drew nearer to my teenage years... music, movies, friends and other influences... very slowly, pulled me into the horrible pit and the miry clay. My mom used to remind me of my encounter with Jesus when I was a kid but I was blinded and I didn't care. I thought God was boring and being with Him in prayer would be lack of enjoyment that this world offers me and misery... but I was so wrong.

I was completely blind. I became very rebellious with my parents; not talking with them and my sister... isolated and not talking much with people for a very long time. People used to look at my face thinking they see an innocent boy but my mind was a trash can. I was on the verge of total destruction... edge of stepping into porn, suicide, smoking/drinking... tattoos etc. At the right time, God opened my eyes using the testimony of Nigerian Satanic agent who later comes to God:

The Lord then showed me what's right and wrong... started forgiving and loving all people. That's called real enjoyment.

God later baptized me with fire (I was baptized with water long back). So... well, after that... God helped me spread the gospel to my friends, a shopkeeper, a driver of a public bus etc... It's just been wonderful. Reader, whoever you are... know that God is very much real and He is coming very soon to collect His precious children who He redeemed by His own divine blood on the Cross. Know Christ and you'll know peace.
