Re: [FamilyofGod] Texas

well some of those people were given $20,000 to relocate, and many of them blew it instead.  i know of people here in springfield that are in jail now because they got money to relocate and never actually lived there.  this area is flooded with people that came up here from lousianna and thats why the economy here is in the pits.

Some were stuck with no where to go or enough money to leave. It isn't free to relocate. No many are NOT better off. The towns that took in an unprecedented number of evacuees were not equipped to deal with the numbers. The roads couldn't handle the traffic -schools got overcrowded - there weren't enough jobs to be given to all the new folks. Better off? Not really.

A lot of people got stuck due to money or even health reasons. The ones hurt in Katrina were not all the evil people and God magically saved his "kids". There were plenty of faithful followers hurt or killed or that lost everything. How do I know for sure? I lived through it and know others that did NOT.

God's kids sometimes get hurt too. That is life. It sometimes is horrible but we cling to God through the trials. Bad stuff sometimes happens to good people. I have been abused, fired from jobs, raped and beaten by strangers, betrayed by friends, and beaten down emotionally. It wasn't because I was "doing evil" and God was needing to punish me. It was because someone else chose to do evil against me. Through it though, I held tightly to God. Bad stuff happens to God's people.

I know but I beleive that God did all he could of done to get His kids out of there. God knew in his foreknowledge that it was going to happen and those who reconized his warnings and interventions left the area before it even hit. it grieved God's heart soooooo to see so many get hurt , killed . but the evil things things that those god rejectors were doing were bad. those that had to relocate i hope are better off now.

But - there were believers that died or lost everything in Katrina. There were some that were hurt or completely dislodged from their hometowns and still haven't really returned. There are still some in trailers. Many were believers - yet - it still happened. I am a believer in prayer as everyone else is but there are some things I will just never understand completely but - I am ok with that. My faith will not be moved despite my lack of knowledge. I have prayed for things that did not work. Sometimes I didn't know why until years later. Does it mean I didn't believe right or have enough faith? No - I don't think it did.

Bad things happen in this life. God NEVER promised that being a believer means we don't deal with storms or valleys in our lives - real ones and symbolic ones. Bad things happen to the righteous and good things happen to the unrighteous. I don't always get it but I trust God through it. I believe in prayer, but I don't always understand the answers I get. I trust God, but I still go through some TOUGH situations. That is life.

didn't say no one prayed for katrina to be stopped. obviously there were not enough beleivers to of stood in the gap for God to of intervened there. like with the flood and the sodom and gormra situations.. there were only a very few beleivers. and God had to allow that evil to take place... but God did protect the beleivers. just like he protected to the beleivers  during the katrina  storm. and he will in texas.. if there are no beleivers then what can God do. he can't force himself on others he can't make em beleive.... the continue evil taking place around the world opens the doors for these things to happen. God will get his people to safety and if there are beleivers to stand in the gap  texas will l be spared. but homosexuality is very bad and brings with it spiritual and physical attacks. the devil will
distory everything and everyone if wwe let him and by into his lies.love u,

Do you believe Katrina hit because no one prayed for it to go away? I promise there were millions praying during that and many lost their lives and many lost their homes and churches and schools and businesses - their peace of mind. Do you honestly think it was that no one prayed?

People are praying about Alex and it is hitting land as we speak.

the storm will be stopped because it has too. where people are praying and trusting God to protect them and there area it will be done . it has to . it's a spiritua;l law. God will stop this storm and he will be glorified. no one has to get hurt or loose anything or anyone. why do people always think God is in these storms or behind them. God doesn;t send the storms but he can and will make a way out  for all who llok for it.love u,
