Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." (Matthew 7:13,14).
, "That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet I am not ashamed, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him for that day" (2 Timothy 1:12) and "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes" (Romans 1:16).

Fight Back

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation or distress or persecution, or famine, or nakedness or peril or sword? Romans 8:35

The Bible reassures us time after time that God will not leave us nor forsake us.
(Hebrews 13:5b) Yet in our despair or troubles we feel far from Him.

WE often think, God why are you letting me go through these things? God, you are not taking good care of me. Why are so many troubles hitting me?

In the worst times of my life, I felt like Job, where Satan had an assignment against me and my family, and was told to spare my life, but he could take whatever else he wanted. And Job was told, just curse God and get it over with.

But I raised my fist to Satan and said no matter what happens, you will never make me curse God, I will serve Him until my last breath leaves my body.

I took a stand. And God bought me through those dark, lonely wretched times, and restored my mind and heart, one thing at a time. He bought me to a new place spiritually.

So now... when things happen to me, I look to Him first, and I think, what is this teaching me, what can I learn from this? WE can always learn about trusting.

What can come between us and God?
Our own lack of faith.

WE push him away, and walk in circles of worry, despair and depression, believing there is no end in sight to our problems.

Satan (the loser) just got his victory. He stole the word of God from your heart. If he steals the word, he takes your victory; he takes your strength and hope.

How can he steal the word?
By making you believe God is not taking care of you. By making you believe all the negative, draining, sad, things in the world, and believing you are worthless or a loser or that nothing good ever happens to you.

He is a tricky deceiver, wanting to work with your faults, he knows you so well, and knows your weakness, and preys upon that.

How can we fight back?

By Prayer

If you cannot do anything else, say the name JESUS. Demons hate that. They cannot stand that. They know it has power, and they tremble at the name. Turn on your praise music. Sing and shout before God. Shake your fist at the loser Satan, and tell Him your life belongs to God. Rebuke Him and he will flee. He hates rebuking :)

Yet in all of our problems, we can be conquerors. WE have to live like victors, think like victors, and pray like victors. WE have to think, live, walk and breath faith. God is alive. He is strong and powerful. Your life as a Christian should reflect that every day. If it does not... you need to refresh yourself in his presence, in prayer, in his power, in praise, and fill up on His word.

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come. Nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing shall be able to separate us from the LOVE of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-39

You are a conqueror, go forth in the name of Jesus and conquer those problems, call upon His name, and believe in His heart that is turned towards your needs. Do not be distracted by anyone or any problem, but seek His face, and allow His power to infuse in your spirit and overcome the powers of darkness trying to prevail in your life.

We are more than conquerors; we are victors, by the blood of Jesus and the armies of angels He commands. Nothing can prevail against the will and power of God.

Trust... and do not be afraid.

Remember
Only one life, will soon be past,
Only what is done, for Christ will last.

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen. (2 Corinthians 13:14)

Love & Prayers,
