Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it." (Matthew 7:13,14).

God is the best father anyone could ever imagine and we know he3 speaks to his children continually.

I think I have read this email at least 5 times. I am not sure this quote lines up with scriptures. Am I alone in thinking this? I don't think God is ever quiet. I also dont think God only speaks when we are in need of direction or correction.
Does a parent only speak to a child when the child needs correction? Or does the parent also praise the child and encourage the child? Is God not our parent? Doesn't he also encourage us?

If God does not speak, it is because He has nothing to say, and is satisfied with what we are doing. God is not a radio to be turned on at will. The Lord will let us know quickly enough if we are running in the wrong direction. The Holy Spirit is our director and corrector. Agreed? ~ Reinhard Bonnke
