It would be a state thing - not federal. Obama doesn't have a hand in it at all - nor does any part of congress. Just the people of California. Still - I do hope it passes. I really do. I wish it was federal law. And eventually - I think it will be.
Oh - before anyone asks or assumes this - my reasoning for supporting this has nothing to do with my personal habits. I am not nor have I ever been a pot user. My reasons go beyond that. My reasons have a great deal to do with who is filling up the prisons right now.
