Re: [FamilyofGod] Who are you?

I guess I need to do this again.  I am indian irish and a little dutch.  I have 5 children and 16 grandchildren.  My father was a wonderful teacher, we learned to find scriptures in the bible when we were very young.  we spent as much time on the river bank or at the lake as we did at home.  i shot my first and last animal when i was 15, country girl, we had all kinds of animals growing up on a farm.  i learned to love art and music, i got my first camera when i was 8 and my harmonica too.  Most of all i learned about God and how he provided  for us.  i have 4 sisters and 8 brothers and only 3 girls in church none of the boys.  i lost my father at 20 and my mother at 49.  i am happy to say i love the Lord and i have worked in different works of the ministry.  i love helping people even if its just giving kids socks or hats to keep thier heads warm, or blankets to keep them warm at night.  my one desire is to follow Christ in all ways and please him even if others don't aree with what i'm doing.  i have a couple hundred dolls to get ready for these kids for christmas.  so i don't spend much time online.

Ok; hope everyone enjoys the ride through my life. My name is Stacy. I was born in 1969 in West Virginia. In 75 I broke both shoulders, elbows, wrists, knees and ankles trying to jump a barn. In 80 I was left home while my parents had to take my sister to the doctor and silly me drank bleach of course now I know this is not a good idea. The doctor said that if I had not thrown up that I probley be deade and had I lived without throwing up I would have  had the same sense of smell and taste as dogs do but because it did come back up I have no taste or smell. Those who love me don't ask anymore weather or not something is good or bad because they know. In 87 when I turned 18 my father came out of the house and said that I had to leave because now that I was 18 I was on my own Now ya gotta sink or swim boy and so I left. I never went back because that was never a option because as bad as dad sounds my mother was ten times worse and me nor my sister will go against either of them because we respect our elders but fear them too. Everything was going just fine for me untill April of 09 when I had my auto accident and was told that I had brain cancer and would not be able to work untill they could get it controll. Now I'm 41 and have to settle for doing a online bussiness so I can keep making money to keep the bills and such paid. I have been married for 3 wonderful years now and working to get through all of this together. Any questions?

We talk to one another on this computer on a regular basis.  We tell each other of things we go through -- sometimes.  We talk about our faith.  But really -- do we know one another?  Where did you come from?  What is YOUR story?  I want to know.  What is your faith story?  What is your life story?  Bluntly put -- who are you???  I want to have fun with this.  I will respond to my own question once someone gets the ball rolling.

There is an optimistic belief widespread among the generous-hearted that the average human being has only to become sufficiently acquainted with another's trouble or danger to transfer it to his own shoulders not merely unhesitatingly but gladly. --Margery Allingham
