Wishing you all a blessed, happy and prosperous New Year. I join in prayers with you that may we are graced with the coming year as year of inspiration, fresh creativity, feminine energy of inter-connectedness of the fullness of life, masculine purpose and strength, and by the marriage of it all may this year be beautifully transformative for us all.

May we embrace ourselves in the totality of this beautiful journey we call life and live an awakened, trust-love-peace giving life. The beautiful paradox of life is that, All that remains is all what we give. Please do not forget that no one else in the entire world deserve more love than yourself and we must forgive ourselves first to embrace it with unconditional love. So let there be no guilt, no shame, no sadness over the past. Every single experience so far in our life was indeed necessary pathway along the journey.

Spanish poet Antonio Machado wrote beautifully: Last night, as I was sleeping, I dreamt - marvelous error! - that I had a beehive here inside my heart. And the golden bees were making white combs and sweet honey from my old failures. (watch and listen to the poem here).

May all our seemingly old failures be made sweet honey of gratefulness that comes from the realization that each has been sent as a necessary stepping stone to where we are now, in this very here and now. Rabbi Nachman of Breslov reminded us, "Do not forget: you are never faced with a trial that you can not overcome."

Rumi calls the experience as being Human as a Grand Guest House. "This being human is a guest house. Every morning a new arrival. A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor. Welcome and entertain them all! Even if they're a crowd of sorrows, who violently sweep your house empty of its furniture, still, treat each guest honorably. He may be clearing you out for some new delight. The dark thought, the shame, the malice meet them at the door laughing, and invite them in. Be grateful for whoever comes, because each has been sent as a guide from beyond."

Let every new dawn of this new year be a reminder that yes we are here to live an awakened life, a life that illuminates and give to others and so shall we must. Have a happy and blessed New Year. Peace!
