[FamilyofGod] In need of a lot of prayer

Hello Everyone,

I believe I may be in another spiritual battle, where things are happening so fast around me that I am struggling in my prayer life. On Sat. I flew out to the east coast on Southwest Airlines for a deposition (thank you for praying) and experienced multiple delays to and from my destination, auto trouble while there where I even lost my breaks on the highway, learned that my eldest daughter, who has out of fellowship with God, and by her own admission, is listening to the council of Christians in the same situation, that are trying to convince her she is gay, which is causing her confusion, and surrender to this lifestyle along with rendering her suicidal. My son informed me that he and his girlfriend are going to have a baby but will not marry until she is out of school, and I found our youngest daughter may be expelled from school because she was caught cheating (again). Our middle daughter is out of rehab, needs to find a job to live up to the contract that was established and is having difficulty doing so. My husband is still emotionally distant even though he wants us to "see" one another so as to eventually work toward a full reconciliation.

My current schedule has me exhausted and recently sick with my full-time position as a Residential Training Specialist (RTS) and my part-time position as an Admin. Asst. (AA). It is affecting my walk with God, because I cannot even focus on my prayers, reading the Word, or listening to the Pastor's message.

The RTS position pays very little and I cannot support us on it, I will always have to work another job along with it. In addition, there is mandatory overtime, and training, but for the training our department head does not want to pay us labor if they pay for certification, even though it is against the law. We have to chase after the hours and we are still waiting on payment.

I have recently been informed that my p-t AA position will most likely go back to being f-t with the new budget this July as they merge my department with another. The other woman affect by this change has repeatedly refused f-t positions offered to her in the past, is near retirement, and has a husband that has recently retired. She has more seniority, and if she chooses to take the position then I will be laid off. If she does not take it the position will go to me, however, if it does, and layoffs occur, then I will be subject to bumping by someone more senior (in-house only) who has at least worked in that position before.

If I am able to work the AA position full time, it will be able to provide enough for us so that I can work one job while continue with my education, just as I had done before. It also provides better hours in which I can be home with my family and my husband, it would also give me the rest I need, and not interfere with and degrade my spiritual life as this current work schedule is doing. Please pray because I am struggling in doing so.

I thank you for all your prayers and support and cannot wait to get back online with all of you to assist in ministering to and praying for the brethren.

In prayer and praise,
Deborah

Oh Lord, hear my prayers and answer my cries for the marriage and salvation of my husband, our four children, our parents, our family, the Body of Christ, our friends, out leaders, our co-workers, and our enemies. Grant each one of them the blessed gifts of brokenness, repentance, confession, faith, and salvation along with sanctification and service in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. AMEN!!!

"In the morning, O Lord, Thou wilt hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to Thee and eagerly watch." Pslam 5:3

"Yet, with respect to the promise of God she did not waver in unbelief, but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what He had promised, He was able also to perform. Therefore also IT WAS RECKONED TO HER AS RIGHTEOUSNESS." Romans 4:20-22

"But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness. 'The Lord is my portion,' says my soul, 'therefore I will hope in him.' The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul that seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord." Lamentations 3:21-26
