Thank you for all of your prayers on my brother's behalf. He is out of ICU and my parents tell me he has an appointment in Boston where he will be transported there on Thursday. Praise God!!!
AJ received a blood transfusion the last time which gave him the strength to go home, I am sensing that he will need a bone marrow transplant in order to get rid of this infection. The strangest thing, and perhaps not so strange seeing there are no coincidences with God, is that I read an article just a day before my brother's illness struck of a patient in a medical journal who had AIDS and received a bone marrow transplant from a person who had immunity from the disease in which the patient was later pronounced cured. Although my brother does not have AIDS, they do acknowledge that he has some kind of infection to which they cannot absolutely identify.
