Re: [FamilyofGod] Conspiracy in the Church

No one says Jesus came just in spirit George. That is just lame excuse. Jesus come in flesh, that is human history.

The interpretation of these verses is that whichever spirit that says Jesus did not come in flesh is antichrist. The meaning of this verse is just the case in point. Jesus Christ, God came in flesh. If any spirit says no, he didn't, or he isn't God,  he is actually antichrist.

That is the full meaning. Otherwise why would an apostle write about a historic person, who lived during the same time,  that he came in flesh. He is confirming that God appeared in flesh. Exactly my point, George.

1 John 4:2-3

King James Version (KJV)
2Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Hi Molly.  First off let me say that  I don't believe that "all" the bible is mistranslated.   But many verses are without a doubt.

This verse you quoted here actually tells the whole story.  When it says that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh it simply means that Jesus is human.  Many were saying in them days that Jesus was a spirit and not a human just as they do today saying that Jesus is God and not really a man or human.  This is the spirit of antichrist that is rampant today.  This is another Jesus that is so commonly taught today. This spirit of antichrist was foretold that it would come and it is most definitely here today  blinding the eyes of most.

Hi George,

Jesus taught that those who have seen Him has seen the Father and that He is eternal and He will come again. Any one can create words such as Modalist and trinitarians. It is just the world labelling you. Even you and I can coin words that we like and I am sure it will be established in the  Language, as a new word.

.Jesus said He is the Way, the Life and the Truth. It means, the way to eternity, the giver of life and the Truth, personified. Now how do you define God, George? If Jesus says He is the giver of life, the ability of the  One true God, what do we infer? So saying that the Bible is all mistranslated is just saying that one doesn't believe in the Bible. Jesus is not a man who just came and went.

He opened the door to heaven  and is inviting us to come in, freely. He asks us to believe Him. We can always say, "hey brother I think you are just like me, so let us meet when you come in the clouds. I will wait for them trumpets."
But in 2 Peter 1: 16 says
"For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty."
and 1 John 1: 1

"That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched--this we proclaim concerning the Word of life."
Either we have to believe the disciples or we have to be still stubborn and say Jesus is just a man who just came so he can go tell God about our salvation. If we are Christians , we believe in the deity of Christ. Otherwise we should just as well call ourselves believers of Allah, Paramatma , Jehovah witness, or Bahai Faith. They all agree with you. Christians follow and believe in Christ.
"For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe." (1 Tim 4:10).

Finally:

1 John 4:2-3

King James Version (KJV)
2Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

I rest my case George. I agree with John, Timothy, Peter , Thomas  and   all the 2 billion Christians that Jesus Christ is my Lord and my God. The Bible tells me so.And the holy Spirit confirms it.
On a personal note, what does Stephanie say about this. She is a smart  one.

I see.  You are not really a triniarian.  You are a modalist.  They say God played different roles.  Or you could be oneness who say that Jesus is the Father.  All not taught by Jesus.

We do not and should not believe in Tri-Gods. We believe in One God who dwelt among humanity as Jesus , whose spirit, on its own,  does all the works of God.

Hebrews 1:3 The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
Man did not create Trinity. Man understood it only after the birth of Christ.
Jesus asked,"

he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? John 14:9

Trinity is truly biblical. God is One and He showed us He cares for us by taking our sins upon the cross . If we believe that and say that, we have everlasting life. The second coming means we will all stand in judgement before the throne and Jesus decides where we go, with Him or down into hell. We make the choices by either living a godly life or an undisciplined life.
Rev  19: 11-14- 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Not many people understand is that , we do not have to really believe in Jesus if we don't want to. But for those who call on His name and those who worship him , He will give His abundant blessings and peace that passes understanding. Jesus helps us to live a supernatural life. And the holy Spirit blesses us with the fruits of the spirit. It is actually a wonderful blessing. Yahweh briefly showed us  His holiness when He took human form as the Son. I believe that even if you don't want to believe and accept the Son,(visible  human form of God ) , Yahweh is kind to all those who believe in Him.
...For in him [Jesus] dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2:9

"If I am not doing the works of my Father, then do not believe me; but if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me and I am in the Father." ( John 10:37-38)

It is because He is the judge, the savior, the rock, the shepherd, the  bread of life, the living water, the hope, the cornerstone, the resurrection and life and finally the name above all names. By him evil is vanquished and eternal life is gained. Only God can be all these and therefore we know that Jesus is the manifestation of God on earth to reconcile us sinners, so that we will never be lost. So George Jesus is not just the man through whom we get salvation. Jesus is the One who gives salvation.
