[FamilyofGod] PRAISES!!! PRAISES!!! PRAISES!!!
The Lord is good to those who wait upon Him! He is worthy to be praised!!! May all the glory and honor be His!!! Look what He is doing...!!!
Wow! Where do I begin? Well the Doctor's have stated that there is only a 2% (two percent) chance that my grandson will be born with Down Syndrome. The baby's mom, A., has devoted herself to prayer, coming from a "religious" background she is now learning what it is like to have a relationship with her Creator and is seeking a Bible-believing-faith-filled-praying-servant church. She has joined me (3k miles away) in praying for my son, and is witnessing God at work!!!
Our youngest daughter A. is flying home as I write. She should arrive in about an hour. She and I have a lot to discuss and I need godly wisdom, discernment, and insight.
Our middle daughter, J. is progressing rehab, she still cannot receive phone calls or visits but she has received her college books my husband sent her.
Our eldest daughter, E. is not speaking to me and will not say why but I have an idea, in any event I know God is in control and I leave it in His hands.
My husband, R., scheduled a date for us last night and cooked dinner for us and we watched a movie. We had a great time, have been getting along. He appears to be very happy and calls/texts me daily.
My brother, A., is getting around a lot more but is still struggling with the Lyme Disease.
I have money for my flight to see my grandson after his birth on Dec. 4. The only obstacle is getting time off from my secondary job. The low rates for Dec. 25 and Dec 31 or Jan 1 travel would be ideal, but I must first get approval to have Dec 30, and 31 off. Please pray!!!
Thank you so much for your prayers, support, encouragement and birthday wishes! He is the God of the impossible and a wonderful Father to us all!!! May He grant each of you His best this day and prepare you to receive it. Amen!!!
In prayer and praise,
Deborah
Oh Lord, hear my prayers and answer my cries for the marriage and salvation of my husband, our four children, our parents, our family, the Body of Christ, our friends, our leaders, our co-workers, and our enemies. Grant each one of them the blessed gifts of brokenness, repentance, confession, faith, and salvation along with sanctification and service in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. AMEN!!!
"In the morning, O Lord, Thou wilt hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to Thee and eagerly watch." Pslam 5:3
"Yet, with respect to the promise of God she did not waver in unbelief, but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what He had promised, He was able also to perform. Therefore also IT WAS RECKONED TO HER AS RIGHTEOUSNESS." Romans 4:20-22
"But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness. 'The Lord is my portion,' says my soul, 'therefore I will hope in him.' The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul that seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord." Lamentations 3:21-26
