Subject: [FamilyofGod] My Birthday Prayer Requests:
Please lift up:
Our daughter A., who is on the East Coast and is suppose to fly back home on Wed. She is nervous about her flight and has asked prayer for everyone on the East Coast because of hurricane Irene. She still needs to be consistent with prayer, God, and finding a job when she returns.
Our daughter J., who is back in rehab and needs salvation, in addition, we need to work on our relationship with her, especially me. I want to have a healthy relationship with all my children. Please pray.
Our son E., and his girlfriend A, who have my first grandchild (boy) due in Dec. The doctor's suspect Down Syndrome, they have be arguing and are not speaking, she wants to get married now, but he wants to find a job and get a replacement vehicle first, and this girl B. is making a play for my son while he goes through this difficulty. They have both turned to me for council (since my son will not go with her to see a professional) so I need wisdom and prayer for this. E. is slack in his relationship with Christ; and A. is exploring Him with prayer... pray for salvation.
Our daughter E., who is having problems with her health, and finances (bad management), and needs to surrender to God's will and not her own. Praises: she is back in church.
My husband R. is still hesitant about moving forward with our reconciliation, never-the-less we are still neighbors, and we are still "seeing" each other quite frequently. He REMEMBERED my birthday today and presented me with a gift this morning when he called me to open the door. He has to work today, but is planning on picking me up afterwards!!! Praise God!!! He still needs salvation and our marriage still needs prayer.
My brother AJ., is weak from the Lyme Disease, he was able to go back on unemployment, and the Drs. in Boston took him on as a case study! In addition, a very good friend who I lost touch with got in touch with me on Facebook. She is a nurse and battled Lyme Disease for 7 years and won, she is going to get in touch with my brother and father to help in any way she can.
After much prayer God has provided me with an opportunity for a business with Juice Plus (a whole foods supplement mde up of organic fruits and veggies in capsule for with no sugar or salt). I already use the product and love it! Please keep this in prayer for the added income we need because my 2nd employer, where I work 16 hrs to supplement my income and the one that has been so difficult, is creating problems for me for my main employer and schooling by creating mandatory meetings during the week only (stopped the weekend ones) and said if I don't show up, then I am fired. Instead of consolidating them, as they had before they are creating 2 a month for 2-4 hours each, which means I would have to use all my credible time to attend for the 16 hours I work on weekends. This would leave me with no time for my family or me for vacations, etc. Therefore I need prayers for God to bring people in my life who want healthy nutrition and/or would also like to make an extra income doing the same.
Thank you for all of your prayers, God is Awesome! He has blessed me so much over my lifetime! During this last season of struggle, God has used it to bless those around me who have witnessed His provision and have marveled. It has strengthened the believers around me and testified to the unbeliever of who He is, and this is the greatest blessing of all. To hear the lips of praise to our God on dormant lips and the unbelieving lips as well. What an Awesome and Mighty God we serve, and how He loves us!
In prayer and praise,
Deborah
Oh Lord, hear my prayers and answer my cries for the marriage and salvation of my husband, our four children, our parents, our family, the Body of Christ, our friends, our leaders, our co-workers, and our enemies. Grant each one of them the blessed gifts of brokenness, repentance, confession, faith, and salvation along with sanctification and service in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. AMEN!!!
"In the morning, O Lord, Thou wilt hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to Thee and eagerly watch." Pslam 5:3
"Yet, with respect to the promise of God she did not waver in unbelief, but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what He had promised, He was able also to perform. Therefore also IT WAS RECKONED TO HER AS RIGHTEOUSNESS." Romans 4:20-22
"But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness. 'The Lord is my portion,' says my soul, 'therefore I will hope in him.' The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul that seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord." Lamentations 3:21-26
