[FamilyofGod] Custody trial
I get a call from my lawyer last week saying she needs information from my by tomorrow. She lists 3 questions of discovery from the ex's lawyer. Okay, sounds easy enough. I get the letter last week Tuesday and set it aside because I'm very busy and my schedule is full. and it seems as if I can put together the stuff quickly.
So I open it this morning to get the info and I'm shocked to find that the discovery was dated 8/4 and my lawyer sends it out to me on 8/26. She made it sound like she was doing me a favor getting an extension.
Anyway, this is more detailed then I thought but I do have all of my information together. I left a message that I need one more day.
Now here's the good news. My lawyer said that my journal that I kept won't do me any good because I can say anything I want in a journal. But my ex's lawyer is asking for dates and times that my son showed stress due to my ex's anger and my journal is filled with that! GO ME! YEAH!
Now to list dates and times...
Oh, and she already has a lot of this information in the modification for custody order so I'll send it all again in a formation with dates and times.
