I haven't posted much, I am a new member. I have an urgent prayer request, my husband of almost 23 years has been deceiving
me for the past 5 or so years. I thought I could trust him to rebuild the trust and stop the selfish behavior. He and I opened a repair shop
and I have been the only accountant there for the past 4 years. He inadvertently sent a sexually explicit text to me instead of some woman,
who happened to be a customer of ours at the shop. I was trying to text him while he was at our oldest daughter's clarinet rehearsal for a
orchestra she was in. Anyway long story short, we have been going to a Christian counselor since last November. He tells the counselor he
wants to do whatever it takes to make this marriage work. He hasn't done anything to show me he wants it to work. His latest scheme is that
ALL our problems are because we work together. I have been doing this job for 4 years. There is some shady dealings going on somewhere
and I can't put my finger on it. The mechanic we have at the shop and his wife who are presenting themselves to be christian have also sided with Mark
behind my back. His latest scheme is to fire me from my job, that is the ONLY income we have to support ourselves plus our two teenage
daughters. There is a reason they want me out all of a sudden from the shop. I think it is mostly due to the fact that my husband doesn't like it when
I question things being put on the business card, that are for personal use, etc.
He also told the counselor he was saved and he meets with a few other Christian men on Wednesday's for breakfast.
Please add me to all the prayer lists you know of, I can't continue like this and our daughters do NOT deserve this. A Christian
man stands up for his wife and doesn't make life altering decisions behind her back.
