Your comment regarding SBC headquarters dealt with the declaration of doctrine...this is done at the autonomous local church level.
The 'headquarters' do not determine doctrine and practices for the SBC. Each congregation chooses how it will do this.
Furthermore, the Headquarters does not hold any local congregation accountable for their doctrines.
There is some 'real' that you wanted me to get.
