[Church_of_Christ] Re: Creeds

you said: I understand your definition of creed and doctrine and if your interpretation is correct, you are correct. However, I agree with Wendy and probably the world that there is no difference in a church creed and a church doctrine. There are many statements of faith that are named creeds.
Obviously our difference is in how we understand the word creed and doctrine and treatise and covenant. Most all denominations and congregations use the words in different ways. And there really is no purpose in arguing about it. IF you need a "calfrope" from me, considered it given. I wish to leave you with one final thought. IF creed and doctrine are idenitical and without any distinctions between them, why are they two different words?
