Once again, an intellectual red herring...the issue is belief, not understanding, concerning the creeds. I've been a Christian over 3 decades. I don't understand the trinity. But I do believe it.
Anyway, the definition you posted is accurate and a far cry from the oriiginal comment "Creeds are what we believe". A creed is SUPPOSED to have less than the bible. It is a SUMMARY of basic essential doctrines. That's the whole point.
