Had the attitude of the apostles changed in regard to what they said and
wrote, I am confident they would have told us. The fact is they had been
assured of Jesus that what they spoke would be furnished of the HS.
Their words would be the HS's words. When the HS came upon them on
Pentecost, they realized this in experience. Thus the early church
continued steadfastly in "the apostle's doctrine", thus "no one dared"
presume the authority of an apostle. They spoke for God. In view of the
fact this had happened in times past (Heb 1:1, 2) thru the prophets and
that these prophets not only spoke but also wrote God's words, it is not
a leap to conclude that the apostles kneww that not only what they said
but what they wrote was the HS's revelation from God.
