The doctrine of the trinity was well established in the church over 200 years before Constantine was a glimmer in his daddy's eye. Like many other revisionist historians, the detractors of Christianity give the Catholic church and Constantine credit for things they never did.
Clay responds-I decided in my own mind from reading the New Testament
over and over again and praying and asking God to "help" me to uderstand His will and His word, to "MY" simple mind and heart.
"I" concluded that there is NO teaching what so ever that a trintiy
exist. Scared me too! BIG TIME, for I had heard sermons indicating there was. I was afraid for many years to even speak of my disagreement until I stopped caring what uninspired men thought, for
I am uninspired as well and I wanted to stand before Jesus and give an answer for what was/is in my heart and not what Ray tells me to believe before he(ray) will accept me as a "qualified" follower.
My attitude is believe as you will and I will do the same, if you must be divisive with me, then I hate that, but I will not be divisive with you. That's the attitude I see in the scriptures.

At BEST, Constantine had specific doctrines officially RECORDED, based on what the church BELIEVED, but it was in the church for 2 centuries.

not accepting your creed, please let me know, I want to be at peace with all men, as much as it is possible.
