Dear Jerry, Praise the Lord ! I am so glad to hear that you have received Jesus as your Lord and savior. To be "born again of the water and the spirit" is quite a blessing. The angels in heaven rejoiced at your conversion. You do not have to be bound to unbelievers. I consider this "ORGANIZATION" that you have attempted to be "joined to" is not a HOUSE OF GOD; if as you say they are trying to run you away. God would have you to be in the presence of like minded believers giving thanks and worship to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God says that with the same Love that he has shown US , we are to show our fellow brethern. By this the world shall know that we are God's disciples. Likewise we are not to be "rabblerousers"(trouble makers) either ,and give cause to be shunned.Please know that we here at Family of God are praying for you that you may serve God in all peace and righteousness(not your own, but of Jesus). Grab hold of Faith and trust in God that He IS going to lead you to the place where you will be Blessed and able to walk upright before Him. Boldly entering into the Throne of Grace. There are times when we have to wait on God's direction. I'm not sure of your circumstances. Is this the only Christian Church in town? Just keep on praying to God, ask Him to send you His help. He will move things out of our way; He will guide you when you PUT YOUR TRUST IN HIM . We are trusting God with you Jerry.
