Re: [FamilyofGod] General Quiz/We have a Winner-amt1968
Lot took a long look at the fertile plains of the Jordan Valley in the direction of Zoar. The whole area was well watered everywhere, like the garden of the Lord or the beautiful land of Egypt. (This was before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah.) Lot chose for himself the whole Jordan Valley to the east of them. He went there with his flocks and servants and parted company with his uncle Abram.

| Well looks like we have a winner. The answer to the first question cannot be denied. Because it is near Kuwait. "1.Possible Locations:- Jackson County Missouri , Mointeach Barbhais ( Scotland ), Jerusalem , Iran , Persian Gulf , Bahrain , Southern Mesopotamia and the Persian Gulf , Japan. The strongest evidences lead to the conclusion that it is the fertile land between Euphrates and Tigris rivers, in present day Iraq . The only thing the Bible tells us concerning the Garden of Eden's location is found in Genesis 2:10-14, "A river watering the garden flowed from Eden ; from there it was separated into four headwaters. The name of the first is the Pishon; it winds through the entire land of Havilah , where there is gold…The name of the second river is the Gihon; it winds through the entire land of Cush . The name of the third river is the Tigris ; it runs along the east side of Asshur. And the fourth river is the Euphrates ." The exact identities of the Pishon and Havilah rivers is unknown, but the Tigris and Euphrates rivers are well known. Therefore the most probable place is the fertile land between the rivers Euphrates and Tigris, which is today's Iraq.Mesopotamia is the cradle of civilization as we know it now.. Well now Congratulations. We will wait for George to come back for the award ceremony. Praise God. Molly. --- On Tue, 4/28/09, amt1968@yahoo. com <amt1968@yahoo. com> wrote:
